Abstract


There were three hypotesis in the research, those were: (1) there was a positive effectbetween students perception about teacher profesionahty in teaching toward students learningachievement, (2) there was a positive effect between learning motivation of the students towardstudents learning achievement, and (3) students perception about teacher profesionahty in teachingand learning motivation simultaneously had positive effect toward students learning achievementin Bahasa Indonesia at S M K in Bangkinang This research used part analysis approach. The populationof this research was the students of S M K in Bangkinang that were registered in 2009/2010 ofacademic year that consisted o f 1612 students. Then by using Cochran formula, the research haschosen 84 students from the total population as the sample o f this research.. The result of dataanalysis showed that: (1) students perception about teacher profesionahty in teaching of thestudents had effected positively toward students learning achievement, (2) learning motivation ofthe students had effected positively toward students learning achievement, and (3) studentsperception about teacher profesionahty m teaching of the students and motivation simultaneouslyhad positive effect toward students leaming achievement in Bahasa Indonesia at S M K in Bangkinang.
