KEMAMPUAN MENULIS EKSPOSISI SISWA SMA DI KOTA PEKANBARU

Abstract

This study analyses the ability of senior high school students in writingexposition text in Indonesian language and the various aspects influencing theircomposition. Data collection techniques are carried out by: (1) studying documents, byanalyzing the students' exposition text, the textbooks and the curriculum, (2) observingthe class during teaching and learning process, and (3) by distributing questionnaires toknow both educational and non-educational skills of the students. The population of thestudy is the third year students of senior high schools in Pekanbaru
