HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA: STUDI KASUS SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 2 BANGKINANG BARAT KABUPATEN KAMPAR

Abstract


This research aimsto determine the level of reading comprehension, the level of
outcomes learning Indonesia language, relationship between the ability to reading comprehension
with learning outcomes Indonesia language. This research uses the total sample, where the
number of students 60 people consisting of 2 classes. This research used a quantitative approach
with a correlation method. Which technique is used to collect data, such as test and
documentation. Based on the result of data processing, it can be conclude that: (1) Reading skill
of students comprehension, the average is 61,06 low category. (2) The results of Indonesia
language study, the average is 68,5 sufficient category. (3) The relation between reading
comprehension and the result of Indonesia language study = 0,537 > 5% = 0,250. Thus, the
alternative hypothesis (Ha) is received, otherwise nil (Ho) hypothesis is rejected.
