PENERAPAN METODE DISKUSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS V SDN 006 BATURIJAL HULU KECAMATAN PERANAP KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HULU.

Abstract

The study was conducted with the background of the attitude of students whoare less positive about the lessons due to the lack of student motivation and learning methodsused in accordance with the material kurag. This study aims to improve students’ motivation onIndonesian subjects in class V SDN 006 Baturijal upstream through the use of methods ofdiscussion with the number of students 32 students consisting of 17 male students and 15female students. The variables are measured students’ motivation gained through observationsheet, then the activity of students and teachers during the learning process is obtained throughobservation and descriptive data analysis. The research method is done by observing the activityof teachers and students learning motivation for 4 meetings were divided into two cycles. Theresults showed that students’ motivation in classical increased by an average cycle I reached64.06% or higher category and the second cycle reaches 87.24% or very high category. meansincreased 23.18%. student activity cycle i of 67.19% or higher category and the second cycleof 88.28% or very high category. an increase of 21.09%. and activities of teachers in the firstcycle of 83.75% or excellent category, while in the second cycle to 100%. This means anincrease of 16.25%.based on the results of this study concluded that the discussion method canimprove students’ motivation in learning Indonesian in class V SDN 006 Baturijal Hulu PeranapIndragiri Hulu District.
