TUNJUK AJAR MELAYU DALAM PANTUN ADAT PERKAWINAN MELAYUDI KELURAHAN DAIK, KABUPATEN LINGGA, PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU

Abstract

Abstract: The research, “ Tunjuk Ajar Melayu dalam Pantun Adat Perkawinan Melayu diKelurahan Daik, Kabupaten Lingga, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.”, was background by the existenceof Malay guidance delivery implicitly in the form of poem in the process of wedding custom inDaik Lingga. The research was devoted to discuss the teaching of Malay guidance in poem ofMalay wedding custom. This study aimed to describe the structure, the context of utterance,the process of creation and inheritance, education values, Malay guidance, the function, and theimplementation in learning literature in school. The research method used was descriptive analysismethod. This method is qualitative research method. Based on the analysis of Malay weddingcustom poem, was obtained some results: 1) syntactic structure of poem consists of form ofword, phrase, clause, and sentence; 2) rhyme of poem consists of internal rhyme, end rhyme,perfect rhyme; 3) low and high rhythmic poem (emphasis); 4) diction used is diction in Malay inDaik Lingga and found language style parallelism; 5) context of the utterance is divided into thecontext of the utterance in spying, proposal, trimming, hennaed, khatm al-quran, offer andacceptance, and plain flour; 6) the process of creation of the poem occurs spontaneously andconceptualized and inheritance done vertically and horizontally; 7) poem contains of 10 valuescharacter education, i.e. value, relegius, tolerance, creative, democratic, curiosity, national spirit,appreciate achievement, friendly/communicative, social caring and responsibility, as well as 15Malay guidance, that is self awareness, devotion to God Almighty, openness, courage, deliberationand consensus, mandate, responsibility, rights and belongings, ingratitude toward Allah, unity,mutual cooperation, and tolerance, honesty, good prejudice to fellow creature, obedience to theleader, affectionate, and see beyond; 8) Poem functions as a cultural identity, cultural education,symbols explanation, guidance and instructions/procedures; and 9) author makes a learningmodule about the old poetry (poem) for first semester of XII grade of senior high school students.
